Resume of operation of International airmail

Starting from 29th June 2020, International airmail (Free shipping) has resumed operations and we can send your item via free shipping to most destinations such as the UK, Ireland, USA and Canada. The delivery timeframe however has been extended from 1-3 weeks (before Covid-19) to 4-8 weeks (During the Covid-19) for most countries. We still recommend you chose the courier shipping for a smoother and quicker delivery of your items.

Temporary suspension of international Airmail (Free shipping)

As of 28th of May 2020, international airmail has been temporarily suspended due to lack of international flights and closure of airports. Which means if you choose “free shipping” for your order, we will not be able to dispatch it immediately and your order will delay.

At this point, it is anybody’s guess on how quickly the global situation improves and flights resume operation but we expect the delivery to take 1-2 months.

Also, Fedex economy has been temporarily suspended until further notice, so if you choose to receive your item via Fedex, we’ll have to send it via TNT instead.

For an added cost, you can still chose to receive your order via DHL, or TNT and we’ll dispatch them within 1-2 days and they take about 1 week to arrive during the Covid19 situation.

What we have done, is find alternate shipping companies that can still deliver your item within a reasonable period (1-2 weeks) and we have absorbed the added cost for such couriers and you only pay an extra £7-£10. you can choose the “Courier Shipping” and you will receive your order within 2 weeks. So, if you do not wish to pay the extra cost for DHL and TNT, please choose “Courier shipping”

Stock & Delivery time

Our decentralized logistics processes so far has made it possible to cope with the restrictions in trade and logistics. Also, our current multi-sourcing and purchasing strategy helped us to minimize supply bottlenecks. For this reason, we currently expect only minor delays in delivery for the local shipments (within Asia)

For international deliveries, there will certainly be delays. With many countries under lockdown, local postal services are not functioning at their full capacity. Also international airmail (in many cases) uses passenger airlines to carry postal items, and with many flights being grounded, the delivery of your orders will suffer delays.

We kindly ask you to be patient should your goods not arrive at the specified time.  The current situation is challenging for all of us and we are doing our best to adapt our processes to the current situation.

Internal Measures to combat Covid-19 infections

We have taken the recommendations and advice of the Ministry of Health very seriously and have been following them closely. To protect our customers, we constantly adapt our safety precautions and make sure every item is packed with disposable gloves and disinfected prior to pick up by the courier company.

We are committed to protecting the health of our employees and customers and thank you in advance for your understanding for any delays or inconvenience caused by COVID-19.
